As a child in a border town, I cherished the delightful memories of my family and me crossing into Mexico to explore the mercado and enjoy delicious meals at local restaurants. 

Since my children have yet to experience Mexico, I wanted to craft a story that captures those joyful moments, highlighting our travels to Monterrey and the fun times spent with my cousins.
