DESCRIPTION OF BOOK:

In Gideon the Brave Bulldog, young readers are invited into the exciting world of Gideon, a timid bulldog puppy finding his way through life's adventures. At first, Gideon relies on the warmth of his loving family-his playful brothers, comforting hugs from Mom, and bedtime prayers with Dad-to feel safe and secure. As Gideon navigates his new home, he meets two furry companions: French Fry, the spirited young cat, and Jed-I, the wise, elder feline. Together, they encourage Gideon to embrace courage, reminding him of his father's wise words about trusting God. Through playful escapades and valuable life lessons, Gideon learns to face his fears, ultimately becoming the brave bulldog his dad always believed he could be.

When a new addition-a spunky little kitten named Dust Bunny-arrives, Gideon becomes a steadfast guide, teaching him how to be courageous in the face of uncertainty. Filled with heartwarming moments and gentle lessons drawn from scripture, this charming story empowers children to conquer their own fears and embrace the love that surrounds them.

STORY BEHIND THE BOOK, BY AUTHOR:

This story is inspired by my service bulldog, whom I had the privilege of training from a young age as a military veteran. 

When I first encountered Gideon, he was an incredibly timid puppy, frightened by nearly everything, even his own shadow. Over time, I witnessed his transformation into the courageous bulldog he has become. 

Recognizing that children also encounter their own fears and challenges, I was motivated to create a children's book aimed at helping them navigate their anxieties, just as Gideon did, with the support of family and the wisdom of scripture.
