STORY BEHIND THE BOOK, BY AUTHOR:

This tale is dear to me. Years ago, my children and I launched a podcast when they were too young to sit at the dinner table. I gave them a straightforward task: create a story that conveys the importance of avoiding negative influences. 

The outcome of that task is this story, "Don't Hang Around Turkeys." My boys illustrated that we tend to become like those we associate with. At times, we find ourselves as eagles mingling with turkeys, preventing us from achieving our true potential.
